The safeguarding of conflicting interests is forbidden by lawyers on the basis of professional regulations (§ 43a Abs. 4 BRAO). Before a mandate is accepted, we therefore always check whether such a conflict of interests exists.

Professional liability insurance currently exists through Allianz Deutschland AG, Königinstraße 28, 80802 Munich. Territorial area of application: Federal Republic of Germany.
The professional liability insurance meets the requirement of § 51 Bundesrechtsanwaltsordnung (BRAO).
Out-of-court settlement
In the event of disputes between lawyers and their clients, there is the option, upon application, of extrajudicial settlement at the bar association for the District Court in Munich, the bar association of the state of Saxony-Anhalt (§ 73 para. 2 no. 3 in conjunction with § 73 para. 5 BRAO) or at the arbitration body for the legal profession (§ 191f BRAO) at the Federal German Bar Association. Online dispute resolution platform and consumer dispute settlement:
The European Commission provides a platform for online dispute settlement that can be found at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/.
